Are all Lambo Doors the same? No, Vertical Doors, Inc. is the only USA manufacturer. We use domestic carbon steel and all our pivot and strike points are heat treated. Most companies that have copied our designed use the cheapest way possible means to make their kits and since they can just shut down and restart under another name, they don't worry about quality of their products.
Is this a safe Vertical Lambo Door hinge? With over a decade in the market we have seen just about everything. The two main components of the Vertical Doors, Inc., hinge are made from 3/8 and 1/2 inch steel making them virtually bullet proof and able to withstand just about anything.
Is it hard to install Vertical Doors? It is fairly easy as long as you are mechanically inclined and have basic tools. Our bolt-on kits come with your vehicles factory bolt patter for an easy install. A 6-12 page instructions manual is provided along with free tech support. We prototype every kit to be as easy as possible to install.
Is it difficult to operate the doors after the conversion? Not only is our kit easy to install but is also easy to operate. Basically open your door like normal until it stops at a predetermined position then raise your door. Every kit comes with a shock that will take most of the door weight making it easy to raise the door up. Our kits give you the freedom to open your door as factory, unlike most imitators, Lambo Doors, Scissor Doors, Wing Doors, Butterfly Doors, Lamborghini Doors, etc. Your vehicle will keep its factory look and feel while you are driving but the moment you stop and raise your doors you will experience a whole new level of attention that no other upgrade can give you.

When I opened the package, the first thing that I saw was broken grease fitting with the thread, broken inside the hole and no way of getting it out without drilling out. They are definitely very heavy, which makes sense to hold up heavy doors and to be reliable, but if you are wanting to race your car and to also have this kit, I would strongly recommend not installing them because how heavy they are!!! Other than that, they are pretty cool and really neat how they work, they definitely thought through everything to have all the adjustments that you may need to make sure it works for your Mustang!!!

Overall well made. To install on 2019 mustang, must level out hinge system with spacers(yes) unless you move your hood hinge assembly(not recommended). Will have to modify/adjust your fenders to line up with door. Taking off door panel be careful, must gently pry up on window mechanism plastic to expose a screw. Hidden panel under door handle to take off to expose other second screw. Two screws on bottom of door panel. Instructions it comes with does not do justice for newer mustangs. The fender to front bumper is attached differently then older mustangs, don't loose parts. This is why I gave a 3 star on fit, a few mods need to be done for the system to sit nice. (dont forget about cutting top fender attachment point and taking off bracket off body panel. Appearance 5 star. Quality I dropped a star due to a defect in the paint on the hinge assy I received. Had not been grinded flat so looks like hinge was painted over bubbled rust. (not noticeable once installed). Dropped a star for buck bang due to the price you pay you expect the doors to at least be a little more easier to raise. Possibility in future to raise pressure in shocks a little more to give the effect of the door raise a little easier instead of having to force up first before shock engages and moves door up. Overall for an experienced mechanic install is straight forward. If you are not experienced in all aspects (electrical, hydraulic, mechanical) take the install to a professional. Overall rating 4 star.

Excellent product! What a head turner! I have an ecoboost and not a powerful 5.0: but when I stop and raise my door to get out! Heads turn and compliments fly! You can install this yourself and save $1,0000 - $2,000 on installation if you take your time, look up how to remove the front bumper off a 2015 Mustang on-line and carefully follow the instructions. I have no real experience Customizing cars; however – after a bad professional installation I literally went in and adjusted, corrected and properly aligned the doors. It is doable by an amateur like me if you have the confidence and a little help (raising the door to install the strut).

I would have given 5 stars, but I purchased these with a time constraint and believed the website "In Stock" and "Get it in 3-7 days", which was completely false. After several calls with support, I finally ended up talking directly with Vertical Doors, Inc and got them to expedite. In fact the website still shows the same status instead of the correct, "Shipped from Manufacturer" and "Get it in 2-3 weeks". Once I received the hinges, I read the installation instructions twice front to back and watched a couple of online videos. The install proceeded exactly to the instructions with zero problems. The most nerve-racking part is cutting the inner fender lips for clearance. The instructions also don't mention that the formed foam fender insert doesn't go back in. The doors look amazing when they are up and I've had so many positive comments. If you don't do the work yourself, resign yourself to the fact you will have to hunt around to find shops that will even do the work and then narrow that down by reputation and price. Most will want $1000 to $1800 to install. I did it myself, saved the money, and will spend it on more mods.
